_{[The feed flickers on, greeting you with the lovely colorful and sparkling scenery of a slot machine, along with the hustle and bustle and music that comes with the Goldenrod Game Corner. Aforementioned machine is being operated by an as-of-yet anonymous 'Gear holder.]

[There's a clutter-clink sound as a coin is dropped into an off-screen slot, and then the wheels go a-spinning.]

_{[This is Tulio showing up ... admittedly some time after getting that text cause how does I technology, but here he is now. He finds Miguel after a quick search and pokes him in the shoulder, looking, actually, not very happy with the situation.]}

Miguel, what are you doing?

_{[Words are hushed as if anyone would be eavesdropping. You never know.]}

Tulio, look! This machine-thing, it makes money! _{[and Miguel proceeds to pull the lever, making the slots spin again.]

[... and what do you know, the next second the slots have stopped, three cherries in a neat row. 75 Coins!]}

Look! Sensible money! _{[He holds up a handful of glimmering coins in Tulio's face now, not at all subtle about it]}

_{[Rudely snatches one of those to weigh in hand and inspect carefully. He concludes that it's not REAL gold, but definitely better than that paper-crap everyone kept trying to pull here.]}

There has to be a catch. Did you lose any money yet?

_{[Do not trust machines.]}

Well, uuh, naaah, not really. When the pictures lining up doesn't match then- _{[As the machine so kindly displayed now. Two bars and an arbok. No coins]} Yeah, you see.

But, I've won a lot more than I lost! _{[And he proceeds to plop another coin into the slot, pulling the lever and here they go a-spinning again.]}

_{[...ffff. More frantic not-really-whispering and paranoid looks around.]}

I don't like it, Miguel. You can't cheat things like this.

What do you mean 'Aracde Tokens'?

Like... coins you win at places like that. Arcades and stuff. You can cash 'em in for prizes but you can't actually buy anything with them outside of wherever you won 'em.

[Well, Yao had definitely missed the air of the casinos back home. He had some free time before work, so why not stop by and do a little gambling? Here he comes walking down the aisle of machines, holding his favorite pipe in his right hand. Some smoke drifts from the bowl of the pipe and into the air.]

Oh. Nihao, Miguel. I see you've been having some luck on your side. [He smiles, which is a rare occurence when he's smoking his opium.]

Oh, hello! Uuh, Wang Yao, right? _{[He smiles back, hoping he got the name right. He's fairly sure he got the name right.]}

Ahah, yeah, it seems so. I'm sure something horrible will happen to me when I walk outside.

Yep, that's me, aru.

[He chuckles.] I doubt that will happen. Goldenrod is relatively safe, so I'm sure you'll be fine, aru. Just don't fall for any tricks that the con artists come up with. I've seen a couple hanging around outside lately, aru. [He takes a little puff of his pipe and has no idea that Miguel himself happens to be one of those people.]

Yeah, well, I don't worry about being conned. _{[Said casually]} I'm more worried that, like.. some huge metal thing will crash down on me. You know, as a counter to all this luck _{[He laughs, making a vague gesture at the machine and Coin case]}

[Miguel doesn't take much notice and returns focus to his own machine, pulling the lever once again even though Tulio pesters him. 'Enough now. Let's get out here.' Just one more spin. One more. Then they'll go.]}

_{[Disregarding Tulio's grumbled protests, Miguel pulls the lever again, and this time he wins! Just 10 measly coins perhaps, but a win is always a win and it might just even be the start of a win streak!]}
